When you receive home care, a nurse or aide will visit you at home to provide medical care or other services. Home Care is generally recommended if:
you have been discharged from a hospital or other facility but require additional assistance at home
you have medical conditions or physical challenges
you need assistance with personal care, household chores or other activities of daily living
Paying for Home Care
Our services may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, private health insurance, or on a private-pay basis.
If you are unable to afford home care, you may qualify to receive discounted or free care.
