Alliance 2026 Wins

In 2026, your input shaped our finalized 2026–2029 Strategic Plan, organized around four commitments: Advocate, Connect, Strengthen, and Grow. To realize this plan, we stood up our Alliance Centers of Excellence, one each for Home Health, Hospice, Home Care, Medicaid HCBS, and Palliative Care.

Advocate

Secured the largest proposed Medicare home health payment increase since 2022 and the second largest in 18 years
Engaged in over 215 meetings with Congressional offices, the Trump Administration, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, including four meetings with CMS Administrator Dr. Oz directly
Provided real-time updates on DC dynamics (legislation, CMS priorities, Hill developments), enabling you to anticipate what’s coming and understand how it impacts you
Raised awareness with CMS and policymakers regarding the deepening access crisis in care at home, prompting increased recognition of and interest in solutions from decision makers
Secured 285 congressional meetings, the largest in Alliance history, and approximately 30 member-level meetings, which was made possible through the participation of over 150 advocates
Continuously advocated against the overly broad national moratoria, instead offering targeted, data-driven program integrity solutions to lawmakers and CMS alike
Launched the “Home Is Where Care Happens” image campaign aimed at countering the fraud, waste, and abuse narratives that have been used to paint an inaccurate picture of our work
Offered access to individualized guidance from the Alliance’s robust suite of subject matter experts
Submitted regulatory comments that protected your interests and pushed back successfully on harmful proposals, including addressing burdensome audit and survey concerns

Launched updated website and improved newsletters, so the resources you’re paying for are easy to find, and the updates that affect your operations reach you faster and more clearly.
Introduced Coming Home, our new Alliance podcast to bring you conversations with leaders and experts from within and outside of the field spanning strategic approaches, practical strategies, hard-won lessons, and early signals we should be paying attention to
Reimagined our Annual Meeting experience by updating our format around flexibility, engagement, and value

Strengthen

Equipped you with resources to make real improvements to your daily operations through comprehensive reports and practical toolkits and guides equipped you with resources
Released new early hospice election research by ATI and a Medicaid chartbook, among other reports, developed in collaboration with the Research Institute for Home Care, giving you credible, sector-specific data to bring into your own state advocacy, payer conversations, and board presentations
Expanded our Facts & Figures resource to give you the data you need to make the case for our field, or benchmark for your operations
Launched a new Caring for Veterans initiative and an updated We Honor Veterans program, opening a meaningful growth pathway for your organization while making sure the veterans in your care receive the recognition and specialized support they’ve earned

Grow

Introduced new Office Hours and Partner Spotlight offerings, expanding opportunities for you to connect and access exclusive member discounts
Created a new Alliance Mentorship Program to help you find, connect, and share experiences with others, in the same city or on the other side of the country
Launched the National Alliance for Care at Home Foundation, a new philanthropic engine dedicated to workforce development, research, and innovation
Hosted and recorded over 70 member webinars and counting across all Centers of Excellence and special interest groups, including technology
Participated in nearly 40 speaking engagements across separate state and industry events
