Caring for Veterans is the National Alliance for Care at Home’s initiative dedicated to advancing high-quality, veteran-centered care across all care settings.
Through education, community engagement, and cross-sector collaboration, we support providers, advocates, and community partners in better understanding and meeting the unique needs of veterans and their families throughout the care continuum.
The We Honor Veterans recognition program is just one of the ways we support organizations in putting that commitment into practice.

2026 Alliance Foundation Gala
Join us on Thursday, October 29, for the National Alliance for Care at Home Foundation Gala, An Evening Honoring Those Who Served, held in conjunction with the 2026 Alliance Annual Meeting & Exposition. Proceeds from the Gala support the Alliance’s work to advance veteran-centered care, including the We Honor Veterans program.

We Honor Veterans
We Honor Veterans (WHV), a program of the National Alliance for Care at Home, empowers Alliance members to meet the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. By recognizing their unique needs, participants learn how to accompany and guide veterans through their life stories toward more compassionate care.
