Alliance Advocacy Week 2026

Registration open to all Alliance members.

Alliance Advocacy Week brings together voices from across the country to champion the future of care at home. Hosted by the National Alliance for Care at Home, this annual event unites providers, caregivers, volunteers, and industry leaders to share powerful stories and advocate for policies that support home-based care.

Through direct engagement with policymakers, participants highlight the critical role home health, hospice, and community-based services play in strengthening our healthcare system and improving lives.

Schedule of Events at a Glance

Welcome Reception | Sunday, September 13, 6-8 p.m. ET

Hyatt Regency Crystal City | Chesapeake View Rooftop

Kick off Advocacy Week with a casual networking reception for early arrivals. This is a great chance to meet fellow advocates and toast to the exciting week ahead. Drinks and light appetizers provided.

Policy and PAC Briefing | Monday, September 14, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. ET

Hyatt Regency Crystal City | Ballroom Level

Hear from our federal lobbyists on the latest happenings on the Hill. Alliance PAC supporters are also invited to attend for a working session on the PAC’s goals and growth for the year. Breakfast provided.

Beginner Advocate Training | Monday, September 14, 1-3 p.m. ET

Hyatt Regency Crystal City | Ballroom Level

This optional training session is designed to help everyone feel confident meeting with legislators ahead of our day on the Hill. Whether you’re new to advocacy or a seasoned vet, we will be walking through the essentials of what to know when you’re on the Hill from logistics to how to run an effective meeting. We’ll save time at the end to answer questions and pair up advocates to practice sharing their story with others. Lunch provided.

Hill Day Briefing & Group Prep | Monday, September 14, 6-9 p.m. ET

Hyatt Regency Crystal City | Ballroom Level

This session is required for all Hill Day participants. We will use this time to ensure all advocates are aligned on messaging, issue briefs, and logistics. This is also your opportunity to meet with your group ahead of Wednesday’s meetings. Dinner provided.

Hill Day | Tuesday, September 15, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET

Individual schedules will vary depending on meetings scheduled

Advocates will be grouped by state or region to participate in scheduled meetings with Congressional offices. You’ll represent the Alliance and share the impact of care at home directly with lawmakers and staff.
