Dawn Jelley, RN, CHPN

Dawn Jelley is a healthcare strategist and nurse leader specializing in AI-enabled transformation across post-acute and home-based care operations. With more than two decades of experience spanning bedside care, leadership, clinical education, and healthcare technology strategy, she brings a rare ability to align clinical integrity with operational performance, workflow design, and intelligent innovation. Dawn advises healthcare organizations and technology partners at a pivotal inflection point: the shift from retrospective reporting to real-time operational insight and AI-enabled care delivery. Her work focuses on architecting AI-supported workflows that strengthen quality, improve responsiveness, reduce clinician burden, and support workforce sustainability without adding complexity to already strained systems. She helps organizations move beyond technology adoption toward intentional operational design, ensuring AI augments professional judgment rather than replacing it. In her most recent role as Product Strategist for a national healthcare software organization, Dawn played an active role in the development, design, demonstration, and strategic positioning of AI-enabled clinical and operational workflows across intake, documentation, quality review, referral management, compliance readiness, and interdisciplinary care coordination. Working closely with product, engineering, design, and operational leaders, she helped translate frontline clinical realities into scalable AI-supported solutions designed to improve usability, consistency, efficiency, and patient experience. Her work has included AI-supported documentation workflows, referral summarization, medication workflow optimization, clinical care briefings, operational escalation pathways, and clinician-in-the-loop AI design strategies focused on trust, adoption, governance, and workflow integration. She is particularly recognized for helping organizations evaluate how emerging technologies can be implemented responsibly within highly regulated care environments. Dawn is widely known for translating complex technological capability into executive-level clarity. Her presentations challenge healthcare leaders to view AI not simply as a software decision, but as a governance, operational, and leadership responsibility that will shape the future of workforce sustainability, patient experience, and care delivery. She is a frequent national conference speaker and CEU educator known for combining strategic foresight with practical implementation insight. Originally trained in England and now working internationally, Dawn brings both global perspective and grounded operational experience to her advisory work. Her central thesis is clear: the future of home-based care will be defined not by the presence of AI, but by how thoughtfully leaders design it into clinical and operational systems.
