Alliance Member Engagement
The member voice is at the heart of the Alliance. With a strong history of volunteer leadership across legacy organizations, the Alliance’s member engagement model was formed through an intentional process driven by member input.
Member Engagement Overview
Advisory Committees are appointed by the Board and provide advice and expertise to the full board.
Advisory Councils provide strategic guidance, recommendations, and insights to the Alliance regarding policies, programs, and initiatives that support the advancement of members’ primary service lines.
The Alliance board and staff recognize additional Engagement Opportunities – member advisory groups – that support special issues or initiatives and cut across all service lines.
Communities – organized by care at home disciplines and key topic areas – provide a dynamic space for members to engage in discussion, share insights, and access valuable educational content, fostering knowledge sharing and networking. Communities are hosted through My Alliance, an online networking platform.
In this model, every member can find their home in the Alliance – whether leading through council service, contributing to a task force or engagement opportunity, or participating in community discussions. Thank you to the invaluable volunteer leaders helping to shape the future of care at home!
